Walking with Hope 5k Walk

Giving Children Hope’s “We’ve Got Your Back” program presents Walking with Hope, our first 5k Walk-a-thon to be held on May 17, 2008.

In partnership with the First Congregation Church in Buena Park, the “We’ve Got Your Back” Walk-a-thon benefits the children of Orange County who have been identified as chronically hungry.

This family, fun-filled event will include food vendors, games, raffles, and merchant booths for your entertainment! Invite your family and friends, and help us reach more children in Orange County. YOU can make a difference!

Register!

Click Here to register online. You will be contacted by a GCH representative to complete the registration process.

Pre-registration is $20 per person until April 15.

Pre-registration is $25 per person April 16-May 16.

Registration is $30 the day of the event.

Each registered participant will receive a Walking with Hope T-Shirt and goodie bag. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All participants must fill out a Liability Form and send it in with their registration form.

Proceeds go toward the We’ve Got Your Back nutritional program which provides food assistance Orange County children that have been identified as being chronically hungry. Elementary school students who are reliant upon free or reduced lunch programs for consistent meals are enrolled in a Nutrition Club and learn about healthy diet and wellness in addition to taking home well-balanced meals to sustain them over the weekends.
