Earthquake in China

According to official statistics the number of dead in China’s 7.9-magnitude earthquake is more than 69,000 people. An additional 374,141 people are injured, over 17,000 people are still missing and over 46 million have been affected. There are 15 million people displaced and 5 million homeless due to the Sichuan earthquake.

Giving Children Hope has already shipped on container of humanitarian aid for China which was shipped from our distribution center in Buena Park on May 23. The shipment is traveling to our partner Alpha Communities= at the epicenter of the earthquake.

Please donate for Giving Children Hope’s China Relief Efforts and help us ship more medicines, surgical gloves and trays, oxygen supplies, I.V. feeding bags, bandages and other various surgical and medical supplies to those in China who need it most.

We are still collecting donations here at our distribution center at 8332 Commonwealth Ave. Buena Park. Right now we are asking for monetary donations and in-kind contributions, especially tents, medicine, first aid kits, sleeping bags, cots, and blankets.
