On Friday, January 25th, 2008, 40 Orange Lutheran High School students volunteered at Giving Children Hope as part of a school-wide “Serve Day.”
The students split into groups and worked on projects such as packing wooden-cross necklaces from a Giving Children Hope microenterprise program in Indonesia, packing food boxes for the “We’ve Got Your Back” program, sorting medical supplies for a container leaving for Ghana, working at the Giving For Living distribution, and stuffing and addressing envelopes for a mailing going out to 2007 Giving Children Hope donors.
Orange Lutheran High School students have been wonderful friends of Giving Children Hope for many years and always do a remarkable job when they come to serve.
Thank you to Orange Lutheran High School for many jobs well done!

Giving Children Hope has sent out their own medical team to Myanmar where they have been assessing what the greatest needs are in the area, bringing medicine and working with doctors, and working to open up distribution channels for the last two weeks.
