Sponsor Medicines for Honduras Communities

Honduras recently reported a major outbreak of respiratory ailments, ranging from influenza to pneumonia. These extremely contagious illnesses, when left untreated, may develop into more serious health issues. Women and children unable to seek medical attention face life threatening fevers and complications with breathing. Men, often farmers and labor workers, are suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, fevers, chills and breathing problems.

Giving Children Hope currently has nearly 6,000 dosages of Cefditoren Pivoxil waiting for sponsorship. Cefditoren Pivoxil is used to treat throat and lung infections, including bronchitis Strep Throat, Tonsillitis and various strains of Pneumonia. It is also used to treat some skin infections.

Each dose pack contains 20 tabs of 200mg Ceftditoren Pivoxil with 12 + month dating. The current fair market value for Cefditoren Pivoxil is $350 per dose pack.
