Mission Medic Air in Ndola is a nonprofit group of volunteer pilots, doctors, dentists, and nurses who fly to remote regions to provide medical care. If there is a clinic close by, the group can perform minor surgeries to treat infections, dental abscesses, and cataracts. The volunteers also treat malaria, diarrhea, GI illnesses, eye infections, wound infections, and tooth decay.

The group treats approximately 1,200 patients per month and fly into 12 different areas that may have a clinic, but no medical staff to treat people. They are able to fly into areas that can only be reached by dirt roads and many hours of driving.
