Giving Children Hope is First Responder in the Community of Crestline

On Friday October 26, 2007, Giving Children made a deliver of clothing, shoes, blankets, hygiene items, face masks and pillows to Lake Gregory Community Church in Crestline. Lake Gregory Community Church has partnered with Running Springs Community Church to serve those in Running Springs who lost everything from the Slide Fire. Pastor Joe Slovenec offered a word of thanks on our YouTube site to the many who have made contributions to ensure that aid is reaching the needs.

Volunteer at Giving Children Hope:

Sorting and Packing:
We are anticipating a need for volunteering to sort and pack items in our Distribution Center towards the end of week. If you would like to be called for such an opportunity, please call and leave your name, number, and group size (if applicable).

Fundraising:
Hold a fundraiser at your school, workplace, church, or community group in benefit of Giving Children Hope. Designate your donations for the Giving Children Hope “Disaster Fund” and help bring relief to those who are displaced by major disasters!

Collecting items:
What is helpful to us at this time is for individuals to stand outside of WalMart, Target and similar stores to ask shoppers to buy the needed items to assist the fire victims.
