Pharmaceutical Internship
As a licensed pharmaceutical wholesale distributor, Giving Children Hope has an on-site pharmacy where pharmaceuticals are distributed to licensed doctors for overseas medical trips. The Pharmaceutical Intern will assist the Logistics Coordinator with valuing, assessing, evaluating, and pricing pharmaceuticals. This involves research, utilizing the Internet and an online version of the Red Book. It will also involve some hands-on work in our on-site pharmacy. Along with members of the operations staff, the intern will catalog, inventory, and organize the pharmaceutical room. Assistance in setting up a tracking system may be needed.
