Prescription Solutions Begins July Social Event With Day of Service
For many companies, helping out their local charities ends with a donation. However, some organizations strive for more, encouraging their employees to make a difference by donating their time and energy to a great cause.
This was the case Wednesday afternoon as 10 eager volunteers from Prescription Solutions, a United Health company, lent a hand in our Mission Store to kick off their July Social Responsibility event.
Group leader Richard Meza headed a team of volunteers who spent two solid hours completing various tasks such as restocking shelves and putting together stools and chairs.
This was the first of a myriad of events planned by Prescription Solutions for the month. In addition to service days planned for every Wednesday, they are also running a two week food and hygiene drive at their warehouse to accumulate supplies for Giving Children Hope’s Mission Store.
GCHope would like to thank Prescription Solutions and its volunteers for their hard work and efforts.
