Mission of Hope will be taking their annual trip to the island of Mindoro and is in need of medicines to treat the many patients they will see that do not have access to health care. They are seeking to receive pharmaceuticals enough to treat 20,000. What they do not use on their trip there they will leave with a local doctor in the community.

The immediate area the clinic serves has a scattered population of about 75 natives which consist of tribal individuals and lowlanders on the island of Mindoro, Philippines. There are 120,000 tribal members, called Mangyans, with a 1 million total population on the island. About 70 percent are children who cannot afford medical help.

There are remote tribes living in the jungles villages with no medical help available. The remoteness of the island has isolated a people from good medical help, schools, and other services.
