On February 1, Giving Children Hope sent boxes of over-the-counter medicine to Michigan where they will be hand-delivered by Bill van Steenis to the El Shaddi Ministries Church in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Finding it difficult to ship medicine to Haiti, where boxes can sit for months at port, sometimes never arriving at its rightful destination, Bill decided to partner with Giving Children Hope to hand-deliver boxes of much needed medication himself.
Bill received the medicine today and he will be delivering them to Haiti in March.
