GCH partners with SIFE to send medical equipment to Ghana

Giving Children Hope and Students in Free Enterprise from La Sierra University, are preparing to send a 40-foot container of medical equipment and supplies to the Nursing Department and on-campus clinic at Valley View University.

Giving Children Hope has been partnering with SIFE from La Sierra University, located in Riverside, CA, to send containers of much needed items to Valley View University in Ghana.

The Republic of Ghana is a country in West Africa. It borders Côte d’Ivoire to the west, Burkina Faso to the north, Togo to the east, and the Gulf of Guinea to the south. As of 2006 the ratio of doctors per population in Ghana stood at 160,000 to 1.

Students in Free Enterprise is a global non-profit organization that is active in more than 40 countries. SIFE was awarded first place at the World SIFE Competition for their work in Ghana. Giving Children Hope is proud to partner with such inspirational students.

Container is scheduled to leave Wednesday, February 13.
