Medical Aid for Orphans in Haiti

For His Glory Outreach runs an orphanage in Haiti which also has a small clinic on site where doctors treats basic illnesses and dehydration. The majority of the orphans are under 10 years old and half are babies or toddlers. Besides treating the orphans on site, the clinic serves children living in the streets of Haiti.

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Less than 50% of the child population go to school and about 80% of the adult population are unemployed. In 2008, the region was hit by several hurricanes.
