On March 9, Giving Children Hope invites you to UCLA to hear indigenous leader Pastor Andre tell his amazing story of his home country Cameroon, Africa, and what he does today to help those from his home country.

Who: Giving Children Hope, Global Brigades, and the African Academy of Christian Leadership (Partners for Change)

What: The First Southern California Global Brigades Event

Where: UCLA Kerckhoff Hall Meeting Room – State Room 131 (park at Structure #6)

When: Sunday, March 9 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Cost: $8 for parking at the Kiosk / free parking before the Kiosk

Come hear Pastor Andre from Cameroon, Africa, tell his story of where he has come from, and what he does today to help those from his country. Pastor Andre is President of the African Academy of Christian Leadership, a university he founded 18 years ago.

Global Medical Brigades and Giving Children Hope recently partnered together to send a shipment of pharmaceuticals, valued at $400,000, to health clinics in Cameroon.

He is introducing community development through medical and business as a component to the curriculum there.

Pastor Andre is currently here receiving his PhD in community development.

First 15 attendees will receive a Global Brigades T-shirt.

Giving Children Hope Sends Team to Myanmar

Giving Children Hope has sent out their own medical team to Myanmar where they have been assessing what the greatest needs are in the area, bringing medicine and working with doctors, and working to open up distribution channels for the last two weeks.
