Giving Children Hope, in partnership with Union Rescue Mission, have sent a second shipment of disaster relief to the Star of Hope Rescue Mission in Houston, TX. This shipment is in response to the damage Hurricane Ike left behind.
The first shipment of relief went to the Lindale Assembly of God Church, the only church shelter in Houston.

Yesterday, Giving Children Hope, with the help of Imperial Manufacturing, has sent cooking equipment to ministries in the Gulf Coast that have helped their communities in the recent disaster relief efforts for Hurricane Ike.
Today, Giving Children Hope sent 500 boxes of food to New Orleans to help with our partners’, Church of the King, Thanksgiving outreach event.
