On May 17, John Ditty, Founder, President and CEO of Giving Children Hope made a special visit to the Lindale Assembly of God Church in Houston, TX. He was met by a shipment of humanitarian aid shipped from Giving Children Hope’s distribution center in Buena Park on May 16.
The food and clothing was distributed to over 500 families at church, where there Houston Department of Health and Human Services also offered free health services to those in the community whom could not afford it.
This shipment is part of Giving Children Hope’s long-term relief efforts in the Gulf Coast Region post-Hurricane Katrina and Rita. Check out more of our work in the Gulf Coast.

Giving Children Hope will soon be partnering with Mission Viejo Christian Church and Mercy House to bring aid to Peru.
Giving Children Hope, in partnership with Peninsula Community Church, helped send aid to Uganda for the church’s Uganda Medical Mission, Peninsula Uganda P.E.A.C.E. Trip 2008.
