Orange County Charity Kicks Off Relief Effort for the Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh
BUENA PARK (November 21, 2007)- Giving Children Hope, in partnership with Compassion Radio, is sending relief aid including emergency food, medication, tents and other much needed items to the Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh in response to the devastation caused by Cyclone Sidr.
Giving Children Hope is accepting monetary donations to help with procurement and transport of aid as well as gift-in-kind contributions.
Much needed items include:
• Non-perishable food
• In-date medicines
• New blankets
• New clothing
• New shoes
• Tents
Donations can be made online at www.gchope.org or sent to the GCH Distribution Center at 8332 Commonwealth Avenue, Buena Park, CA 90621.
