Strategically located in one of the world’s developing regions, Giving Children Hope has been at work aiding the people of Tajikistan and the surrounding region for over ten years.
GCH has placed a Regional Representative ‘in-country’ in order to understand and respond to the needs of the people in that area.
Global Operations & Development (GO&D) has helped to promote, supply and fund micro-enterprise businesses to help local people to be self-sufficient. Provisions of office supplies, baking equipment and cookware, as well as humanitarian aid, have brought relief and hope to desperate people.
GO&D commissioned its latest representative, Rev. Choi Yun Seop, a veteran Pastor Missionary in the region, to lead its work. Through his efforts, our aid has reached into neighboring Afghanistan. GO&D has also cooperated to bring school supplies and hygiene to over 3000 children as well.
Four containers, containing $750,000 of relief aid: medical supplies, food and clothing, have arrived in the area. Much of the aid is earmarked to the creation of a medical clinic in the Afghani capital of Kabul, our newest project in that area.
Your help can make this needed provision become a reality! A gift of $50.00 will provide sufficient medical supplies to treat five Afghan families in the new clinic.
Keep checking in for progress in this area!
