On October 18th, 2007, Giving Children Hope Board Member and Associate Provost at Vanguard University Sharon Linzey, Ph.D., traveled to Kuwait and Northern Iraq as GCH’s representative to the Middle East. Sharon met with local Iraqi partners and military contacts during her 10 day stay.
Sharon’s trip fell closely in line with the timely arrival of three containers of aid and supplies. Three 40-ft containers arrived on Thursday, October 11th in Kuwait from the Giving Children Hope Distribution Center in Buena Park. One container was bound for Baghdad and the other two for Sulimaniah.

Giving Children Hope, in partnership with Board Members, Eileen and Don Anderson, have sent a shipment of humanitarian aid to Annotto Bay Regional Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica.
