Sending Food Relief to Peru

GCH Partners with the Vineyard Church in Peru to feed families in need

Giving Children Hope is preparing to ship a 40-foot container of cooking equipment and food to a partner Vineyard Church in Peru. The Vineyard Church staff will use the equipment and goods to open a food kitchen, feeding families and children from the community, many of which are still struggling to rebuild their lives following the earthquake in August 2007.

Following the earthquake that struck Peru in August 2007, Giving Children Hope partnered with Peruvian Pastor Marius Peyre to ship containers of relief aid to Peru.

Pastor Marius welcomed the containers of aid into Peru in October 2007 and held a distribution day during which 800 children and families were served. In addition to bags of food and supplies, Peruvians in attendance received a hot meal.

In December 2007, Giving Children Hope shipped a 20-foot container of aid and supplies to an orphanage in Cusco, Peru.

Giving Children Hope is committed to bringing hope and relief to the people of Peru, and is able to do so through YOUR help and support.
