Giving Children Hope, in partnership with Feed the Children, helped distribute thousands of pounds of frozen chicken in Louisiana to those who needed it most post-Hurricane Ike.
The frozen chicken was sent to homeless shelters and churches including the Daily Bread Pantry, New Orleans Dream Center, Bridge House Thanksgiving Dinner, New Orleans Mission, Mt. Olive AME Church, and Center of Hope; all located in Louisiana.
The chicken was also distributed in Galveston, TX by our partner Friend Ships to help those who were devastated the most by Hurricane Ike.
