Giving Children Hope is working with the Al Qaim Hospital in Al Quaim, Iraq.

The hospital was established in 1972 and has 33 doctors, 52 nurses, 15 assistants, 7 volunteers and sees on average 920 patients per month. On average 65% are women and 35% are men.

The hospital serves emergency pediatric care, general surgery, adult emergency care, cardiac care and neo-natal obstetrics. The hospital is the only facility of its kind within a six hour drive making it the only medical facility that 95% of the population can practically access. The hospital is the primary medical facility for the poor.

Medicines Shipped to Treat Orphans

Giving Children Hope has sent medicines to the Al Qaim Hospital in Al Quaim, Iraq. These medicines will be used to treat orphans and the poor in the surrounding area.
