Building the Afshar Hospital near Kabul

Giving Children Hope is working to supply the Afshar Hospital. We will be shipping a container that will include medical supplies, clinical supplies, and wheelchairs. A separate shipment of pharmaceuticals will also be sent.

The Waterford Foundation hospital project, known as the Afshar Hospital, is about a thirty minute drive from Kabul. The location of the hospital gives poor local villages easier access to health care. The hospital serves an estimated 45,000 people. The focus of the hospital will be on maternal and newborn care, child health and immunizations, emergency services and supplying essential medicines.
