The Herat Regional Hospital treats approximately 13,000 patients per month. That population includes refugees that are set up in refugee camps nearby. The three most prevalent ailments treated at the hospital include kidney stones, malnourishment and depression.

This hospital is in great need of all medical and surgical supplies.

Shipment leaves for Afghanistan

A forty foot container left today destined for the Herat Regional Hospital. The contents of the container are in great need with the current unstable situation.
