Here is a thank you from a CFC contributor:

Dear [Giving Children Hope]

I received you letter expressing your gratitude for my contribution through the Combined Federal Campaign… I have been giving to the CFC for my fifteen years of service and yours is the first letter I have ever received thanking me for my contributions. I was truly touched by your kind words an was amazed by all the efforts your organization is doing to help children worldwide…

Organizations such as yours makes the difference for some children on whether or not they go to bed hungry or not. I want to thank you also for your help during hurricane Katrina. I am from Biloxi, Mississippi and lost most of everything I owned and still struggling to come to terms with losing that part of my life (35 years), that I had taken for granted and now only my memories exist of how it was. Thank you for making it somehow easier for those that needed you and may God bless you for that… Without organizations like yours many more would have died I’m sure.

I will keep your letter and will definitely be giving to your organization again this year. I appreciate your letter of gratitude, but more than that I appreciate your help. My God bless you and keep your organization strong.
